TKO enables users to publish a manual in various ways. The Preview option will enable a user to view a manual on screen prior to printing, or choosing the print option will enable printing to start immediately. Publishing as PDF option requires the user to save the PDF output. This output may be saved locally or on a server or intranet.
When publishing PDF other members of staff who need access to it will require the PDF to be published to a folder that has permissions for the relevant staff member/s. This is the same as any file you may be using in your business.
Publishing as HTML, which is only available in TKO SME, enables the user to output a manual in HTML which will be then opened in a web browser. As with PDF, it is the choice of the user as to where to publish this output. Publishing a HTML manual on a server/intranet will allow staff members who have access to the folder it's published in to open a manual. This is best done after creating a desktop shortcut. Once created the shorcut will always open the latest manual that has been published in this location.
